The Northern Nevada Songwriters Workshop is an outreach of the
Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI)
We are a group of songwriters from North Western Nevada and
North Eastern California areas who meet to encourage one another in
our songwriting efforts, learn practical songwriting techniques and
provide resources for professional career development in the music business.
The workshop has hosted such speakers as Steve Cox - Manager for Collin Raye;
Hit Songwriters Steve Seskin and Bob Regan; Marc Alan Barnette; Mary Dawson
and other successful "players".
Coordinators Marty Easter and Doug Robertson direct the meetings to facilitate the songwriting process with both creative and business applications for the local songwriter."
There is no cost for first time visitors or NSAI members,
$10.00 for non NSAI members.

NSAI is a the largest not-for-profit songwriters association in the United States.
Our mission is to protect the rights and future of the profession of songwriting,
and to assist and provide programs for professional and aspiring songwriters.
We have many programs for aspiring songwriters-including workshops, critique
nights, symposiums and song evaluations. We help aspiring writers learn more about
their craft and improve it - and we help you examine the business of songwriting.
NSAI sponsors an ongoing song evaluation service for our members, and we host over 100 continuing workshops across the country through our Regional Workshops program.
